El Arrayán, Mexican cuisine restaurant, would like to catch up with customers & friends as to what is happening during the months of July and August this year.
During the summer months we are offering these authentic and very tasty special dishes:
Ceviche Vallarta: Local marinated fish, 80 g, in small cubes with onion, serrano peppers, tomatoes, carrots, capers, olives, and cilantro, to make your own spicy tostadas!
Chicken in Poblano ‘Mole’, 160 g: This is a tasty combination of dry peppers, spices, fruits & seeds; Mexican tradition in one plate
Chile en Nogada 180 g: One large Poblano pepper filled with beef & pork, almonds, raisins, apple, dried peaches. Velvety pecan-ricotta sauce, pomegranate seeds. We recommend it served cold. A true Mexican classic!
Shrimp Peanut Mole, 160 g: Six pieces sautéed shrimp, guacamole, caramelized pineapple & crunchy yam, and our super yummy ‘Mole’
Mexican Bread Pudding French roll slices: toasted & drenched in dark sugar-spices syrup. Baked with raisins, peanuts & crumbly cheese. Served with a homemade vanilla bean ice-cream
In addition to these specials, on Saturdays we have LIVE music with Audi Rodriguez & his guitar. Audi has a smooth, beautiful tone of voice. When he executes classical Mexican “trio” songs & pop ballads, he rearranges each in a fun way and makes it his own for the pleasure of our customers.
The entire team of front of the house, kitchen & office would like to thank you for an excellent very fruitful season Winter-Summer 2016-2017. For this reason and like every year, we will take our very well deserved holidays and will take this time to do some maintenance work in our property.
Our last day with regular service will be Friday, August 18, that is to say, the restaurant will remain closed as of Sunday 19th August, 2017, to reopen in regular hours, on Friday, September 22, 2017.
We will be back with Chef Diego Sánchez’s kitchen team, ready to prepare and serve delicious classical dishes, and other new ones for our menu. We will also continue to offer our very popular traditional Mexican cooking classes during the upcoming winter-summer season.
